Rosalind Funderburgh M.Ed.
Rosalind holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and Masters degrees in education, special education administration and curriculum development. A certified teacher, Rosalind is also a licensed educational diagnostician. She developed the therapeutic programs for a private psychiatric hospital in Dallas and was the founder of the first free-standing Day Treatment Program for children and adolescents in Dallas. In 1993, Rosalind founded Vanguard Preparatory School, a therapeutic private school for students with social and emotional challenges. Under her leadership, Vanguard has been recognized as one of the leading private programs for K12 special education.

Mary is the mother daughter adopted from China and is active in the International Adoption Community. She is past President of the North Texas Families with Children from China and has served on the My Treehouse Board since 2010. She is a lifetime member of the Black Tie Dinner, Inc.

Beth Weller

Beth is a mom to two children adopted from China as toddlers, one with special medical needs, and one bio child born in Dallas. She is a founding member of the Families with Children from China – North Texas chapter, and has been an active volunteer for adoption related issues for over 20 years. Beth is very active volunteering with her kids’ schools in Dallas ISD and havs served as the chair of the Site Based Decision Making Committee at 4 schools. She is a volunteer with AFS, and her family has hosted 9 foreign exchange students.
Born in Oklahoma, Beth grew up and attended college and law school in North Carolina. She also lived in Utah, Ohio and Virginia, and has been a resident of North Texas for 25 years. Beth has practiced law in Dallas for 24 years.
Judy Wisch

Judy is a single mom who adopted her son from Chelyabinsk, Russia at the age of 14 months. From the time he was a little boy, Judy has searched and advocated for services to meet his individual needs. Her personal goal is to share all the knowledge she has gained along the way to others within the My Treehouse family.
Judy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism. She began her own media and marketing business 18 years ago when she adopted her son. Judy’s hobbies are listening to her son sing which reinforces her hope, hanging with her rescue dogs, playing tennis and poker. She believes in the mission statement of My Treehouse of supporting families with adopted children.
